Four Birmingham Men charged for terrorism in England
Europe Security News.- Four Birmingham people with charges related to suspicion of fundraising for terrorist purposes and of travelling to Pakistan for terrorist training, among others.
Last Friday , British West Midlands Police charged four men from the central English city of Birmingham with terrorism offences linked to Pakistan. The arrest is part of a police counter-terrorism investigation. Eight other people have also been charged.
Police said in a statement the four men would appear in court in London Saturday.
Police named the four as Naweed Mahmood Ali, aged 24 and Khobaib Hussain, Ishaaq Hussain and Shahid Kasam Khan, all 19 years old.
Naweed and the other three face charges of fundraising for the purposes of terrorism, traveling to Pakistan for training and traveling abroad to commit acts of terrorism. But the four does not represent any immediate threat to public safety, police said.
