Europe Protests.- 30 injured in Rome after protests similar to Occupy Wall Street.
On Saturday , the protesters launched major demonstrations all over Europe and the rest of the world, demonstrating against the so called “greed of big business and unemployment”. The campaign organized via Twitter and websites, will cover 951 cities in 82 countries. Inspired by the movement of the U.S. “Take Wall Street” (Occupy Wall Street) and Spain’s movement, the demonstrations started on Saturday morning, people took to the streets in Sydney, Hong Kong and Tokyo, during the beginning of unprecedented protests.
This movement was founded on May 15, when demonstrators sparked a protest rally at the Sun Gate (Puerta del Sol) in Central Madrid square, and there is a contagious effect in other countries, almost acting the same way as in the arabic countries, and the protests are increasing every day.
In other countries they are demonstrating for another reasons, like the rallies anti corruption in many cities in Brazil.
During a long speech, the President of Uruguay, who was visiting Norway yesterday, said in a conference with fellow uruguayans at the Scandic Hotel in Oslo that as an outcome of all this movements and protests all over the world, there will be changes in the way the representative democratic system works.
